Well... it does have a "fragrance" but it does not smell flowery to me.
It almost smells like a brand new leather jacket or bag.

My wife said it smells like a Louis Vuitton purse

I remember that I have another catt in the GH that when it bloomed it smelled like brand new rubber shoes.

Its still better than smelling like used socks I guess lol.

It's lovely, John! With a lot of species influence. But I wonder if it is the plant that's labeled. There's certainly Laelia influence there, but Puppy Love 'True Beautry' had pink sepals and deep rose-lavender stripes under the column. If the tag bears the HCC award, it's likely a clone, so it should be identical.

I'm guessing it's a seed-grown self cross of the awarded plant. Whatever it is, it's a keeper!

    Hi Julie,

So far, this vendor has been 2 for 3 on flowers not looking like what they should be.
The Blc Hawaiian Treasure I posted here was also from the same vendor. At least the C. Chocolate Drop 'Kodama' I bought from them was correct

The plants should have been mericlones but that is now suspect as there are significant differences between what I have and what they should look like.

Sure, as soon as it has enough growths for divisions, you will be on top of the list.

    Hello John,

From my experience this is a prettsy washed out example of LC Pupy Love. Needs more light. If I could work out how to post a photo on the forum I would send you a photo of a goo coloured one. Bruce
