Like Wow! ...and I thought this was a Spring bloomer. ??
mossiae should be a spring bloomer, and this cultivar is always on the early side. that feature, in addition to the deep magenta color (which is somewhat uncommon in mossiae), is why some feel this might be a hybrid with lueddemanniana.
