    Default Sophronitis cernua

    Been trying to bloom this one for 2 years. I finally think I got it right. One growth had 2 buds, this growth 4 and another growth on it's way.

    Beautiful! And such a healthy looking plant, great growing Ron!

    Looking at the lower roots, it is still quite green, how wet or dry do you tend to keep the mount and the plant?

    watered frequently in the summer and infrequently this time of the year.

    That plant sure looks happy on the mount, very cool how the plant is allover the mount. Good job Ron, thank you for sharing!

    Dang, Ron, that is beautiful. I love the way it is growing on that mount. Very nice and congratulations on the blooms too!

    the pic only shows half of the mount. The other 1/2 of the plant is not in the pic.

    I want to get a pterocarpa from next, glad yours bloomed too. One of the pterocarpa at my work had 11 flowers.
