    Default Caulocattleya Chantilly Lace

(Cattleya El Dorado Splash X Caularthron bicornutum) Not blooming as prolific this year but this is the first growth since repotting. I have removed the other flowers from the spike for I wanted to conserve energy. I put Rhyn. glauca onto this and have done the reverse as well. The flower is more intensely colored this year but I know what it normally looks like. The second pic is it's normal color.

Although the color is more vibrant in the first pic, I also like the second pic better. Something about the purity of the color.

That is stunning - especially the bloom in the last photo.

That makes me drool even more.
Two seasons in a row, my large-ish Caullocattleya Chantilly Lace would sprout spikes with several buds, only to drop them at the last minute.
