    Default What Dendrobium is this?

Could you please advise me of this little beauty? Just flowering now in our summer. Have had this hard(?) cane little beauty for over 3 years and has only flowered this year, when I paid it some attention.Name: IMG_1355[1].jpg

Very nice, Annette! I don't know the particular species, but I do agree that the Dendrobium can be rather stubborn when in comes to flowering. Send some of that Summer up from Australia to Tennessee. It is presently 23℉ with ~ 2.0" of snow on the ground.

I hope someone can ID. I will send some Summer over to you, if I could find it. At the moment here in OZ. the temps. should be around 29 celcius. For the past 5 weeks, you could prob. count on one hand the sunny days, we have had. Temps. have been around 23 - 25 celcius. Oh well, La Nina has really hit us over here. All of east side of Aust. to north of Sydney, NSW is flooding. People are stranded on highways, cut off by swollen rivers. A Cyclone has hit Nth. Qld. and another is building up in the Gulf of Carpentaria. Just looking like the weather pattern we had in 1974. Lots of rain, followed by cyclones. Happy New Year.

Not sure on this dendrobium orchid's name, but it looks like it would appreciate a repotting soon. That dendrobium keiki is about ready to grow and bloom on its own.

    Cheers
