    Default White dove orchid pollination

Does anyone have any tips when it comes to pollinating Dendrobium crumenatum, the white dove orchid? Ive tried a few different methods with no success. It never bothered me in the past, but I tried again unsuccessfully the other day, only to be shown up by mother nature. So now I have a seed pod on the plant that I am not the pollinating agent for. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

All I can say is good luck.... this is one of the hardest plants to successfully pollinate. Im sure you have already tried to pollinate it as soon as the bloom shows signs of opening. The quicker the pollination takes place the more chance for success.

Yeah it's got me beat... Ive never even noticed any insects on the flowers. Maybe it's immaculate conception?
