Wow, a whole Youtube channel with videos *drooling* Guess I know what I'm gonna be doing for the next a few days
    Thanks a lot!!!
These are pretty huge! I guess I repotted mine way too early last year.
Just re-read messages above and realized 4" must've been 4 inches, not 4 cm *facepalm*

I heard people say that if you keep it in high humidity, it produces keikis. Cannot say anything else than that as I haven't tried it.
I kept one on a windowsill (some were claiming keikis would grow in any conditions), but it just mummified and I threw it away.

Yes, in the USA, a single ' next (right side) to a number indicates feet (12 inches) and the double " next to a number (right side) indicates inches.

At worst just wrap it in moss, put somewhere in a pot / jar / empty fish tank and spray it from time to time. If it doesn't help, nothing will, imho.
Not sure if keiki paste would work in this case, but you've got nothing to lose.

    UPDATE ON THE GROWTH

    Guess what guys????

I think it's looking very promising. The growth that looked very much like a keiki has developed into this:

What does everyone think now or am I still getting over excited???

Also with the growth below it I'm a little concerned as it seems to be quite yellow at the tip:

Could this be due to too much light? I have left it indoor with full, end of Winter, sun by the glass doors.

Another question, am I now able to resume normal watering??? I read somewhere that once the nubs start poking out that I can resume normal watering again. However some say that I shouldn't as the growths will turn into keikis and then others say that once the nubs have formed and are poking out they are either flowers or keikis and do not change characteristics by watering. It just seems that way.

    Default Update on thread

Hi there I made a thread 'Dendrobium flower bud or offshoot' and I have updated on that thread however I have not received any replies from the subscribers on that thread (unless they don't feel like replying, but that's seems a little unusual). I use the mobile web on my phone so I noticed when I post and my message is posted immediately I don't receive replies from however when I post a message where a moderator needs to post my messages it gets seen. Can you please have a look for me???

    Thank you

Congrats you have maybe 2 to 3 buds good growing, the detached pseudobulb just leave it alone another 2 to 4 months keikies may develop just spraying the water only.

I saw it but was unable to make a determination yet. They are tricky buggers sometimes.

You may be able to get a keiki or two. I would cut the cane in half and place on moistened Spag Moss. I use a small plastic container the size of a shoe box. It will take some time for the keiki to sprout. Keep the spsg moss moist but not over wet. Add fertilizer 1/4th strength to moisten to moss when the keiki start out. Good luck.
