I have Messina x Jiad Gold and it is huge (pic below). about 20" tall. The others I'm sure are fairly huge too.

Is that including the spike or just the un-bloomed plant itself? How different yours looks from the picture they have on the site I'm looking at...



Yours looks more green than this. Or was it just the lighting? Theirs looks more orange...

Hmm..these plants might be seed grown crosses and not mericlones..therefore this plant might look different than mine. Mine is DEFINITELY on the green side and doesn't even turn that bright as the flowers age.

The size I'm quoting you is of the plant itself. The spike probably adds another foot and a half!

So... yeeeeeah... 3.5' tall in bloom.... (Looks at a leg) *gulp* No way would one of those fit in my apt. Drat! I guess I'll just have to look at all your photos!

I really like the blooms on this 'Mutation'....

basicaly flowering will not occur or will be of a poorer quality
