Beautiful colour so early in the year too! My garden is just begining to come to life

    This came out yesterday.

A hardy wallflower which is a real good doer.

And a view of the house from the top of the garden.

Here is Houston, we have high 95, low 80 already for a week. With 70% humidity, it feels like 100. My AC is almost running non-stop now.

The only thing really loves this hot weather is my hot pepper plants. They are growing like crazy now.

Judi - your garden and home are so beautiful. I can see a lot of care and time there. Come visit me. LOL. My yard needs to be mowed and my hedges (guess I should call them mini forest now) are covering my windows - can barely get into the house! The spring temps did not last long here either. It gets HOT during the day, with only a tiny cool off in the nights. Typical Arkansas, US weather -

Thanks for sharing your photos of spring in the UK with us! They are wonderful.

    Cheers,
    BD

Spring! And a crazy, mixed up one it is, too! North east Iowa got hit by a tornado yesterday while all we recieved in my part of the state was a heavy shower. Irises are blooming away, Columbine has been out for a few weeks. Buds on the mock orange shrub are plumping up, should be open in a week. Temps were high 80's yesterday and high 70's today (farenheit), but that is supposed to drop down into the upper 60's, low 70's untill the end af the week after today. We'll see!

Oh Bruce your yard would be just the sort of challenge I'd relish! When I retire 2years, 11 weeks and 6 days, (not that I'm counting!) if you still want help give me a shout! PS have you thought about sheep?

LOL - Sheep, goats, even an alpaca. None of these would get along with my dogs though. We did let the neighbor put his horse in the hay pasture behind the house. That helps a bit, but I think I need to invest in some big sawing and chopping machine. Two year, 11 weeks, and 6 days... got it! LOL
