Are they not both hermaphrodites anyway? So its a win-win for both of them either way.

Cats love that grass-in-box-planters stuff. If you have cats you dont need to mow it. Of course, having a rose bush there is bad news for the kitties as they will lose a scratch-fight with the rose.

Great. A thorny phalaenopsis! I cant get them to bloom and they sting me too. Talk about adding insult to injury.
Poor bee. He is just trying to do his job and that is the thanks he gets.
When that rose came back to life, I was half expecting an ad for Superthrive to suddenly pop up on screen lol.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

I think the effect of the film is lovely--if you agree to suspend disbelief for a bit. Overall, it's charming. Alas, the orchid and the rose come from two different worlds, and it just cannot work out. Sob.

Nice. Surprised at all the crew in the credits, though.
