My orchids, paintings & photos
These paintings and the photos below are from 2006. I moved from town to city in 2007 and so now I am just starting over. I will be posting some kind of offer in the bids section soon, for doing paintings of your orchids if you like. I am still trying to work out how I will set that up.

I saw your water colors in the other post Denise, and I am so impressed. You are so talented. What beautiful work!!! I'm sure it took a little while to "relearn" after oils, but the effects just stunning.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

TY digimom & B.D.
My friend taking the photo was making me laugh my ^&* off.
Right now I am being held back by my camera system being in a state of collapse and I am trying to get the last bit of my moving done by closing out my storage unit completely, so I don't have current pix available, but that will change as soon as I get a few of these irons out of the fire.

DSM, your watercolors are so beautiful. I think flowers and the easy blend of watercolor just complement each other. Please show us more of your work!

We have so many talented artists on the forum, that's fantastic! Beautiful work Denise and I like the root coming out of the hole on the side of the pot in the second painting, that's a great "anatomically correct" touch!

TY Tami & Lambert...That plant was all roots! I love the way they look. I wish I knew what I did right. I think maybe it was because of the well-ventilated pot.
