tarantula

    I thought it took 2 of them to reproduce
    I would also leave it in my green house my only concern would be not stepping on it .. Neat spider .. Gin

    It could be allready fertilised... some spiders store sperm until needed... like guppies...
    It may find another one that found the same route from the origin...
    Basicaly don't mess with conservation...

    But why couldn't it be native? I remember reading a novel by Gerald Durrell of his childhood on the island of Corfu (off the coast of Albania & Greece) in the Mediterranean in which he has a tarantula story. If native to the Balkans, why not the Middle East?

    ther r allready 2 native tarntulas here in israel!!!!!!
    this is not 1 of`em
    its way way bigger
    i used to grow golayat trantulas wich r the bigest kind
    this is not 1 of them too
    i havent seen her sins then-she probebly founded a good spot
    anyway most of taranulas r active at night so im not shure if i`ll get to see her again!!!
    as gin said :
