Default Flower Tree, what is it?

    Hello,

I was testing my camera and this neighbor's tree caught my attention. As far as I know, this tree is always in bloom but I do not know what it is.

It is pretty, but I have no idea what it is. Love the red blooms though.

    Cheers,

It looks a lot like what we call the "Coral Tree". It should have blunt(ish) thorns.
Google may possibly help with that name.

hi marissa, i think its a red jade vine, Mucuna bennettii.

the actual jade vine is a native from your homeland.

    cheers

I think you are right, the closest match is 'Corkspur Coral Tree'

I googled the name, results were very similar to the flowers of this tree except that Mucuna benneti is a vine.
