    Default Hoya mindorensis ... for a return engagement

    The next set of buds has now opened. Found it difficult to get many really good shots so had to go with the following:

    As the buds opened the clear filiaments that will give its petals their ice crystal appearance are visible

    I believe the little yellow flecks on some of the filaments may be pollen from the flowers that either simply got stuck to the filaments as the flowers opened or perhaps were jarred loose from the flowers
