    Talking Spring Bulbs 2011

I know it is still very cold in many parts of North America and it is still pretty hot Down Under, but I wanted to share some shots of my spring bulbs that have just started blooming. Today the weather got up to almost 60 degrees! Should start seeing more spring flowers soon. Please feel free to add your own photos to this thread.

I have a few more I will post later. I also have some Forsythia in bloom that I will post if there is any interest.

    Cheers,
    BD

Wow, you're really ahead of my area. My daffs are only about 6 inches tall. Lovely pictures -- yes, Spring will come

Yes, I, for one would LOVE to see your Forsythia bush! Many, many yrs. ago I used to use the branches as switches on my two rowdy boys. Today, I'd be put in jail for child abuse. ( I only just brought tears to their eyes...) LOL...Betty

Beautiful! Sooooo envious. My daffs and tulips are just breaking through the ground. Late this year. I do have winter acronites, snowdrops ( both minor bulbs/cromes) and pussy willow blooming but am so anxious for the daffs and forsythia. With our weather Spring is going to be late this year. Thanks for sharing.

All the daffs/narcissus, jonquils, etc. are almost done here, all the members of the Iris family are blooming here. All of our early spring blooming trees are almost done here. We have been getting into the lower 80s every now and then.

Love the daffodils! Especially the first shot--the flower appears to be looking up at the sun. We're still waiting for the daffodils to start here. Thanks for the fix in the meantime.
