    Default Sarracenia in bloom

    I have a couple in bloom right now; one is Sarracenia purpurea. If I remember correctly, Sarracenia oreophila is the largest of the North American pitchers. Each leaf is over a foot tall, except for the non-carnivorous ones, which it produces starting in late summer, which are flat, and only a few inches long.
