A rather invasive plant, this Allium triquetrum is still pretty next to the Vege Garden, although it stinks.

Some more Cerinthe major or Honeywort, attracts bumblebees and honey bees to the garden plus it looks interesting!

Leptospermum scoparium rosea-Pink Manuka-A great Native NZ tree, also known as Tea Tree (australian name...) that grows aprox 3m high. About sept/oct each year, it is covered with these awesome little blooms, and these are followed with peculiar shaped seed pods.

Prunus serrulata - Weeping Cherry tree
This tree is about 6 years old, and every year, it has bloomed magnificently for us. Every early spring, it is covered in thousands upon thousands of these beautiful white blooms, some with hints of pink, giving a flare to the tree. The Rosela parrots love it too...

This one is a very fine Pericallis x hybrida (a cross between Pericallis cruenta and P. lanata), or Florists Cineraria daisy, whose close relatives, the african Cinerarias can be used as a topical treatment for cataracts.

    Pericallis x hybrida

This picture has been enhanced-to bring out the blue. That is as close to the natural colour as i can get, infact, its pretty bang on!

This is a rather unusual Geum, i spotted it for 2 bucks at the local market
It grows quite small, about 10cm, while my yellow 'Diane' grows to about 30cm. Its growth habit is the same, it smothers the ground around it.

These are some more Anemones, I finally got more than BLUE! I have Salmons, i have pinks, reds, whites, its a really nice display!

And here are some pretty little Geraniums, a pink and a white. They grow prostate, and have tiny crinkled leaves. they form nice dense mats on the ground. NOTE: Pelargoniums are NOT Geraniums! It really annoys me when i see a climbing pelargonium labled as geranium, or i get aske about a geranium, and i reply with info on GERANIUMS not PELARGONIUMS which is what the person was actually asking for.

    Geraniums

These plants are about the size of an old 50cent(NZ) coin before the currency revamp.
