Hey Gin, what's a sugar baby watermelon? What makes it different than every other watermelon?

Sugar baby watermelons are a lot smaller and are mmm... good sweet . I can't get rid of the big melons fast enough . Sugar Baby is the name the seeds are called .

Well that's an interesting bit of information...next time I'm at the grocery store I'll have to notice what kind of watermelons are available. Thanks!

If it gets to hot for canning or if you just get "burnt out", we blanch and then freeze the tomatoes in freezer bags. Then you can make sauce or use them in soups in the winter when you want to heat up the house. I have heard of people who just cut them in half and throw them into the bags without blanching and removing the skins first. Supposedly the skins come off easily after freezing anyway. I haven't tried that yet.
What do you use all the peppers for?

We have four or five watermelons in the garden. The dryness here almost killed them off. Luckly the cool-pads of the greenhouse leak a tiny bit of water out all the time and the watermelon vine grew over and started drinking from there! I am not sure when they are ripe, but my dad and mom are coming for a visit this week, so they can take a look and let us know.

    Cheers!
