Okay, here they are for this morning. I know in the winter these will be just great for soup or chilli, but dang right now they are a pain.

    Cheers!

Oh, Wolf . LOL. You don't understand how freaking hot canning is here in Arkansas in the 100+ degree weather. A few years ago we canned inside the kitchen and the heat and steam damaged the cabinets above the stove. SO now we can out on the deck. We use the turkey fryer thingy to heat up the water. IT IS SO MUCH WORK. If Louis tried to give away even a jar of tomatoes or peppers, I think I would have to find a box and ship him to go get them back! LOL It would be fun if it was not so hot.

    Cheers!

LOL I remember when I was a kid canning everything from greenbeans, corn, tomatoes to Zuchini (sp) it was a lot of work but paid off in the winter. And that was before central air we'd just throw the doors open and turn on fans. But we didn't have cabinets above the stove. Maybe that's why LOL

This house we live in was built for an older couple who did not plan to cook. There is a counter top stove with cabinets just above it at the normal height. Not like the cabinets above a fridge or something. Weird! Anyway, anything very deep puts the heat right up to the bottom of the cabinet. So, outside to can!

    Cheers!

Holy *@$&%#$*!! How many people are you going to feed with those tomatoes??? Amazing! They look yummy too.... I long for real, homegrown, non-gassed tomatoes. I do actually have one plant, a volunteer from last years potted tomato. And it actually has got a couple of tomatoes on it! Last year I fed and pampered and sprayed with bloom set, etc., etc, and got about a dozen. This year this little scraggly volunteer has gotten nothing but occaisional water and has 6 tomatoes.
