Default Fenestraria aurantiaca and Mamm. nejapensis

Not a profuse bloomer for me, but on the plus side it hasn't died either. F. aurantiaca's flower is huge for the size of the plant. Unfortunately, as seems to be typical with succulents and cacti, the flowers are short-lived, lasting about a week.

While the short-lived flowers on Mamm. nejapensis are small and rather easy to overlook, this plant tends to produce a small flush of blooms several times through the month this time of year.

Cool! Next to orchids, succulents are some of my favorite plants to grow.

Great looking plants and beautiful bloom. I have a small version of the first one - at least I think that is what it is. I haven't bloomed it just yet

    cheers,

I also enjoy cactus and succulent plants. From my experience even a week in bloom is doing well. Some of the large cactus around here flower for no more than a couple of days. AL
