    Default Springtime in Fla

It is officially springtime here in SW Fla today, The Cedar Waxwings have announced it's arrival. It was the biggest flock I have ever seen and they are so pretty. Sorry that the pictures aren't cleared but I had the zoom out as far as it would go. These are the neatest birds, you don't know that they are around unless you look up, because they are soooooo quiet and polite, it is said that they will pass a cherry down a line of 20 birds so no one will go without. Plus they are very attractive with dark eye liner and red wing bars.

Ah, they are so lovely, they are one of my favorite American birds, probably my favorite non-raptor!

Oh, how cool, Cin! Cedar Waxwings are wonderful birds. Spring is here for you! Now send them my way, please, we've had a beautiful week camping at Big Lagoon (75/55), but it will be in the upper 30's again by Monday morning. Well, it won't be much longer. Come on Spring!

I think I heard and saw a Robin earlier this week. They are pretty much our Spring alarms. Of course, it has snowed all this week now, go figger.
