    Default Shay's kitties

I thought I'd share a few pics of my other babies... The black one is Meiko and he's always in trouble.. he fetches when he feels like it, just like a dog. Shy is the grey tortie with the princess attitude. She loves to sleep in strange places and make funny noises at birds outside...

    Meiko loves shoes -

Shhh! Meiko's hiding! You can't see him! (He thinks.)

    Shy in her cuddly -

    Shy being normal -

Tee hee... These guys are more needy. Need to be fed twice a day and watered daily. You really need to pay near-constant attention or they get into quite a state.

Kitties just don't understand their humans' obsession with tasty flowers... or even the not-so-tasty ones. If they can't eat them, why do we bother? I have a special pot especially for them. It usually has kitty grass and/or cat nip growing in it. They really seem to prefer my mini rose and cyclamen leaves, for some reason. It's funny when they try to rub their ears on my orchids' leaves, though (hence why I suspect a kitty in the knocking over of my phal - nice big leaves, oh boy)! :P

Yes, it took me a while to realise that my buge white phal wasn't getting some kind of fine mold on it, but was covered in cat hair!

Love your cats! - one of mine does the funny noises at the birds thing too, and at moths, and spiders!

They are both beautiful! I keep saying that when something happens to Rory (19) I won't have another, but in my heart of hearts I know I NEED a cat! Judi

    Default Love 'em!

I wonder how Shy would react if you started to roll her while she was curled up in that thing?

My little Sasha loves shoes too! She actually got stuck in a pair of combat boots once and you should have seen her when I found her!

LOL! I don't think Shy would come near me for a month if I tried to roll her!

And Meiko has gotten his head stuck in boxes, plastic containers, a drawer once, and my sandal. He is the craziest cat I know. (Probably one of the loudest, too.) I wish I'd gotten those on camera.

Just flew back in from Michigan this afternoon with two new 'chids in tow (I'm sure the airlines loved that) as well as a potted lavender plant and 4 catnip plants - the latter two gifts from my mom. My cats spent the majority of the afternoon high and crazy! ... While I spent my afternoon high on codeine after putting out my shoulder tossing around a 16 month old and piggy-backing a 3 yr old on Sunday.

All I know is that driving my stick shift is going to be interesting tomorrow morning.

I'll post new pics of the latest acquisitions later (Beallara Marfitch & Phal Baldan's Kaleidoscope) ... I have 555 new posts to get through. I've already re-re-potted my old phal (I think I might have finally fixed the bad-root culprit) and slept for 3.5 hours on the couch.. (on my bad shoulder, unfortunately).
