    Default Hairy roots

Has anyone else experienced this? The roots on a few of my replates have grown up and are covered with "hair". Not all the roots are doing this. Some are going into the agar as they should. It's not affecting the growth of the plants. It's not just my replates but a few that were given to me as well.

Some of my phrag flasks are doing that on the portions of the roots above the surface of the medium. Plants seem fine. I am going to try a little less agar for a softer medium.

Do you think the hairs are roots then? Not mold?
