Default Flasking orchids 101???

Hello everyone. I was just curious if someone could give me a 101 breakdown of how I want to go about flasking seeds. I have a general Idea, and am ready to get started. I just recieved my Catt seeds and media and I am expecting my Den seeds anytime now. I think I hvae it down to flasking up the mother flaskes, but then I;m shakey about reflasking the mother flasks. If it wasn't to much trouble would someone do a 101 for flasking and maybe post it as a sticky on this forum or something? Might be a help. If its to much then thats fine too. Thanks everyone!!

Josh, I've been putting this off for a while now, but have been meaning to do a flasking pictorial when I got the chance, with a "damn freakin bug pollinated my flower" kind of pod (in other words, with a capsule whose contents if I screw up won't mean 9 months worth of lost time...). Stay tuned; summertime is coming which is typically slow, and I'll have the time to post "how-to pictorial" kinds of messages.

Red face Flasking

I haven't tried this yet, but this was in a link that was posted for me. I just purchased the book myself and plan to try next spring.

Sounds like you are a head of me on timelines. Let me know how it works out and anything I should look out for. The biggest thing I have read so far about this is making sure everything is sterile. You should consider aquiring a pressure cooker of some kind to do this. And making sure you are using the correct media for your seeds. As for the replating, that looks like that could be difficult, not sure if I'll do that or just move them to covered flats at that point.
