They have kicked off very well. The fungus in the flask will die off in the air.
Remove the seedlings from the flask, wash clean in luke warm water, then pot up. Most or all of the fungi spores will be cleaned off. Any normal fungicide will be ok to use if you have to but use it about half the strength of recommended rate. I use a product call Alginox which is a pool algicide/fungicide etc at the rate of 2mm to the litre. I mist spray the plants after watering & evry second day for 10 days. Its fantastinc.
Yea, know all that, thanks all the same though You sure about the fungus thing? it seems to have got more volatile since i opened it up....

I might try half and half, see what works for me. Thanks roy, for the perlite idea I will keep you all posted.

If you've left the plants in the flask it will, big time. You must remove everything from the flask straight away and wash the plants clean.

yea, its a bit of a problem-its still too cold here, but thankfully i have the heat pad. I emailed Fred Clarke about them and he said when i have time. But someone else has suggested to add a drop of 6% hydrogen peroxide and close the flask for 2 weeks. Apparently it kills the mould really quick.
