    Default Learned the Hard Way

I just discovered a couple leaves on my Rene Marquis were burned. I discovered the reason was the suns glare off of the snow. I had it in my bathroom window which faces South and is over the garage roof which is covered in snow. The reflection of the sun off the snow must have been the cause of the burn. Has anyone else ever have this happen?

Heh.....live and learn, I guess. The leaves on my Brassias get burned from almost anything. They are high light needing plants with very thin, strappy leaves. *long sigh* Orchids are hard work. :-)

All the snow reflecting on my greenhouse has things quite warm in there too. I have shading on it but it still hit 85 degrees for a while and the exhaust fan was coming on.

Snow is causing too much light in my greenhouse. I am ready for the darned stuff to melt away. It is bright!!

    Cheers,
