    Default I'm officially hooked!

It has only been one week since I bought my first orchid, a spectacularly large and seemingly healthy miltassia, but I couldn't resist the tiny lucidia discolor which was staring at me from the shelf in the supermarket!

It already has a tiny spike on it and seems to have some flower buds ready to open soon
I have high hopes for both

At this rate i can see me having a lot more plants by the end of the year.

    Great.

As far as the Miltassia care...they're pretty easy...you can google search, "Oncidium Intergeneric Culture"...

Welcome aboard....The Luidisia flowers are small but cute..

Thank you for the really helpful tips clint. it is much appreciated as I am very new to orchids. Miltassia is still keeping well since i repoted it on monday, not sure how quickly things can go bad after though so i'm keeping a close eye on it.
