Holy Cow, guy! You didn't say anything about a roth and lowii ! I'm so jealous - not only of the plants, but of the obvious space you have to grow in. And the 24" supardii was the bonus plant? That roth must have really set you back. Awaiting pictures.

I emailed the vendor yesterday and described the situation in reasonably objective terms. I think I did mention "grossly overpotted", but only in a very matter of fact way. ( ) I suggested they may want to make restitution, but basically I left it to them. If they do, great - they're a class act. If they don't then I just won't use them again.

Nice to know that you've got old blooming spikes on your small venustum. Speaking of small paphs, my Paph henryanum is quite small. Very cute. Close to BS. I think.... I hope....

Note my mum has already "stolen" a Onc Ornitorhynchum(well she is my mum).
There is some leaf burn on the Roth but i,d rather have this than a perfect 20" plant !
    Denobrium Kingianum(dark red type)
    Enyclia Diota Atroubens
    Paph Roth
    paph Lowii(seedling)
    Paph Supardi
    Paph Venustum
    Onc Ornithorhynchum(not in piccie)
Paph Supardi is superb , not a blemish.

Super looking plants. I really love the foliage of paph venustum. It looks sort've reptilian, I think.

I think yours is a bit larger than mine, but the last mature growth on mine looks very close to bs, judging by yours.

Is that a south-facing window they are sitting in front of?

So you Mom's an orchid fancier too. Ornithorhynchum is a charmer. Nice fragrance too!

Enjoy !! That Roth has got to be BS (right?)

They,re in quarantine in my spare bedroom(basically East window) , they,ll be there for a few weeks before they join the rest of the 'chids.

I,ll treat the Roth as blooming size I.E it,ll get a few weeks of cool nights a bit later in the year.I,m not going to re-pot the Roth & Supardi for now.Medium looks very fresh (looks like pure bark for the Supardi). The Roth looks like a mix of all types of bits & bobs.
