I got it after it was already overgrown, and then put off repotting for a little too long . . . I wish I could say I had anything much to do with the overgrowth.

BTW; I'm writing from a micro-brew pub which apparently has WiFi. Maine is really fricken cool.

(I'm sure some untangling would have been better, but I couldn't even find where to begin. At any rate, this pic shows the extreme case, doesn't it?)

I thought my mtdm had an "extreme" case of being potbound. I never knew there can possibly be *that* many roots! Yes, it does look like sphagetti...yum...getting hungry...lol

I don't know how I'm going to repot my milt! It doesn't have *that* many roots, but still, there are a lot. I'll be going through the nightmare of getting the bark mix out of the root mass. I don't know how in the universe I'm ever going to do that without killing it. Even touching it makes me feel nervous!

Maybe I should put off repotting for now...but it is in a tiny pot. Maybe plopping it in a larger pot w/ new media would do the trick? (Sounds like Stanhopea can be repotted this way, but what about others--like Onc intergenerics? I'm trying to be extra safe. )

I'm glad you are enjoying Maine, I am still jealous. What is WiFi BTW?
