Red face A couple of weirdo's

I have no idea what causes the strange things I find sometimes. First is my Phal Chin Shang's Stripes, recently acquired, growing some pretty strange looking flower buds. Second is my mini Phal BeTris Brother, it is reblooming on the original spike and the last flower to open has a mutation. There is no labellum and the sepals on the bottom have fused together. It's very interesting looking.

Anybody know what makes them do weird things like that? The fisrst plant with the weird shaped buds also has a flower spike growing in a circle right now. lol Guess it loves to be different.

No I did not put them next to the microwave, in it, or otherwise try to mutate my little 'chids. lol At least not yet....I have had enough with repotting the last couple weeks.

Connie, I hate to break it to you ... but I think it's time you get rid of your collection of depleted uranium.
