Those photos are great, Traci. The text is really helpful, also. It backs up a tip that I'd heard before, which is that the clue to whether a plant has a deadly virus versus a highly treatable fungus seems to be whether both sides of the leaves are affected with the symptoms.

    Default Thanks!

Very Helpful! I needed a site like that. Helps explain one or two plants to get rid of. They are in prison already.

Traci, thanks this was very timely for me.

I have a hybrid Dend that I won at the local OS raffle a couple of weeks ago. I put it outside with the other 'chids and about a week ago, it developed a few black spots. Next day, a few more. I sprayed with fungicide but the next day the leaves were green with some yellow circles, like measles. Now the leaves are yellow with only a bit of green left, again, in a circular pattern. I think all of the leaves will fall off.

Should I throw this out? Can't imagine what I "did" to it!

I try not to throw anything out unless it is seriously begging to be put out of it misery lol! Even then I'll try to do something with it. I probably wouldn't give up hope, maybe the last grower has been growing it under lights and the shock of being outdoors was to much. See what happens and I'm sure it will be fine.

    Looks like mosaic...

There were a bunch of fungus spots too.
Hmm, fungus can happen if the plant wasn't dry enough when shipped. Luckily , if it isn't too bad, fungicide can help. As for the other mosaic problem, that isn't a good thing.
