Default development all round

Well i have been a member of the forum since February 2008 when i got my first orchid plant and since then i have developed a collection of 9 plants.
The collection i have consists of 3 miltasia, 3 phals, 1 ludisia, 1 onc and one brassidium.

Upon my daily check i have discovered that my oldest miltasia has 4 new growths and the other 2 have 1 each, all of the phals have new buds on their spikes and the ludisia has 3 new growths which have formed many leaves.
I feel that i owe the success of my collection to you guys that have helped out every time i had a new question so thank you.

I will post pictures of all once they develop further

Isn't it exciting to see these new growths... and of course, new growths is like a precursor to flowers... so fingers crossed!

Well done and good growing!

well all but 2 of my orchid plants now have new growth all are looking healthy apart from the biggest miltasia which has lost a number of old leaves. Just wondering if this is normal since it has 5 new growths which are all at the edges of the pot?
Any help would be great.

Sounds fairly normal to me. Old leaves die off and new ones replace them as the plant grows new growth. And Congratulations!

Cheers,
BD

Since posting this I sadly lost one of my phals to stem rot so I am back down to 9 plants although all of the plants I have left are doing really well, Ludisia is now twice the height it was when i got it but it has been losing leaves on the oldest stem.
2 of the 3 phals i have left have new leaves growing up from the centre of the old leaves which I found surprising since i repoted one recently which turned out to have only 3 good roots :S
And the rest of them have lots of new growth
