Default my damaged vanda orchid

Hello
So bad winter has damaged my vanda
Yesterday I cut off all dead parts and you can see what I have now ...
Question is simple - is it over ? or what can I do for survival of my plant ?
You can see on photo leaves are bit warped so I tried put it into bottle of water for an hour and I have this plant in my greenhouse . Is there anything more what can I do ?

thanks

Geez...a rootless vanda...those are kind of tough!

You may want to put it in a place with really high humidity and wrap a bit of spag around the base..I'd also paint the base with some sort of rooting hormone and hope for the best.

Good lucK!

I hate to be the barer of bad news, but the future for it looks a little bleak. However, never say never. Try Clints plan, it couldn't hurt

I don't know about Vandas specifically, but plants generally tend to root better in darker locations.

like Clint says, moss on the "root area" and put in a zip lock bag... helps with the humidity issue, and like Sand Tiger says "If you have a favorite prayer use it now". Good luck!!

Best of luck. It will be a long road to recovery for this one.

Cheers,

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .
