    Default Dendrobium bicaudatum

I have such a crazy obsession with this orchid lol, I've hunted them down to only find one that my local greenhouse was generous enough to give me. Since, it has shot out 2 new growth but seems as though it isn't flourishing. Any tips? I can grow EVERYTHiNG else lol.

    *bump*

not sure how to grow the species, but this is a species from the Philippines, so I bet that one of our members from there would be able to say how these grow in it's native habitat.

I remember seeing this post and wondered if anyone grew this orchid as well. I hope the *right* member sees your question and you get and answer soon!

    Cheers,

Okay, here is the info from Baker and Baker...

Temp...intermediate all year...daytime varies from 76-80 with warmer months late summer and fall. night temp right around 64

    light: 1800-2500fc

humidity: 80-85% a bit lower in the warmer months

Water: moderate to heavy through the year a little less in the warmer months

In it's natural environment, it tends to bloom during the fall months that are warmer and drier with a few more degrees of diurnal temp drop.

So, intermediate, Phal light, no true rest.
The plant will have 12-20" pendulous growths so mounting or basket culture would accommodate that better. (the flower description makes it sound very pretty!) Good luck with it!
