Default wooo hooo! re:bllra. marfitch 'howards dream'

so a while back, i posted this about dividing my bllra. marfitch 'howards dream'.

well...today while futzing with the chids, i noticed that one of the divisions has a spike!!!

the last time i got a spike from this baby was last winter (and it got frostbite from being next to the window when it got below 40* here ). so i naturally thought that it was a winter bloomer. do you all think that is one that will bloom 2x/year? if so, double wooo hooo!!

I've no idea how many times it blooms, but many oncs can flower more than once per year. Congrats! It's always a wonderful feeling to discover a spike! Makes people want to ...LOL

Given good conditions, those can easily bloom twice a year. Nice going!

Here, I would just grow them both the same way. Make sure they're both getting good light, and you shouldn't have any problems.

    thanks, louis!

i did suspect that more light was the issue. both are growing by the same window, but the witchdoctor is right next to the window; while the howard is one row in. well, howard...get your sunglasses on, cuz youre gonna get fried!
