COOL I get to be the first to say HELLO. HI, frostedeyes.

Well, the play on words is kind of lame but the advice you will get will not be. Which do you have; Grammatophyllum speciosum by chance??? Welcome to the Forum and best regards, Joe

The most common reason an orchid is not blooming is lack of appropriate light. Try increasing your light levels. That should help. Post up a photo for other suggestions based on the look of the plant. Welcome.

    Cheers,

    hi frostedeyes,

im not a total expert, but im living in the philippines and believe me, i saw em blooming!
sorry to disappoint you, but i think its a bulb, the spike would come out more on top of a bulb.

how did it develop the last weeks?

    ciao,
    ron
