    Default Temperatures for Orchids

What happens when orchids aren't growing in temperature warm enough? Any symtoms/disorders/diseases/growth problems that they suffer? For example, I know that oncidiums like temperatures in the70-80+ degree range. What if the temperatures don't reach that high? Sometimes the temp in my house stays around 65 (in cooler weather). Just wondering.

Most of the plants can acclimate to a certain extent, but if temps never reach the optimum for the plant, there's a good chance that it won't bloom. Also, growth will slow.
