    Default Orchid Humidity

I know that humidity plays an important factor in growing orchids. I don't have a humidifier at hand now and I don't have a sensor module to measure the room humidity.,but I believe that the available humidity readings of my grow area is not suitable for my orchids, Philippines is a tropical country and we have long hot days. I am planning to make an improvise humidifier.
Question: Is it ok if I will use a water misting machine that will spray my orchids in thimed intervals? Just to increase the humidity level, or is it enough to use humidity trays?

I use humidity trays, but I know there are varying opinions as to how well they work. Grouping plants together is a good way to help increase humidity.

Humidity is huge in some plants, while in others it doesn't seem to be such a huge thing. My dendrobiums can't handle it without humidity, they shrivel like crazy when I bring them indoors to admire them.
