I ordered these "driftwood" pieces that didn't fit in my little tank and had a couple of climbers to transplant so I had a little fun playing around with them. The one on the left (Jumella comorensis) is basically a mount with a stand - I just stuck some moss & roots through the two bottom holes. The moss looks all black because of the flash. The stick in the pot (Maxillaria tenuifolia 'Tower Grove') has a similar base that is sitting on corks at an angle so it is very shallow in the front and there is a pocket filled with fine coconut, charcoal and some pumice toward the back. Apparently there were two plants in that little pot I got last spring!
