Howard, there's another show scheduled for April 11 and 12 (isn't that Easter Sunday??) at Flamingo Gardens. If you're interested, I can find out more for you. I'm hoping to get to that one.

I hope someone can help you with those photos.

Do you think for a moment that I'd leave a key anywhere but in a safe place.... and I'm not telling! And you haven't helped out with some pics or information on these two guys, so why would I let you anywhere near my GH????!!!!

I searched several sites and did a google with no returns for the two, maybe they are too new to have bloomed yet. You'll be the first a historic moment.

Where is the key I think I hear an orchid calling me could be in distress

Right, so the first one, ie the C guttata x bicolor is now called Cattleya Mrs Mahler. Google that and you should come up with a couple of variation.

The next one sounds like it should be Laeliocattleya Purpurato-Rex x Laelia purpurata var. coerulea.... there is a very strong influence in both of Laelia purpurata, so it is basically going to look like a Laelia purpurata. After web search, it appears that both will have a white petals and sepals and a 'bluish' labellum.
