Wow, Tess, you go!! hehehe.. That is awesome. Follow the above advice. More light- gradually, up to almost full sun. I still use 30% shade cloth over our high-light loving vandas.

    Cheers,
    BD

PS - your husband is too funny! I am gonna borrow that joke at some point. hehe..

    hi tess,
have to agree with joe, your husband is funny and he shows some interest in you and flowers.
also agree with the rest, to give it more light after a while, you will figure out the best spot for your vanda's.
im also looking at your trichoglottis, it looks soooo healthy, but it might need more light as well, just dont forget to watch that little beauty!

    good luck,

I know it's not quite a week yet, but, I moved the vandas to the east of a smaller tree. Oh, and the trichoglottis and tolumnia as well. They get more light now. One of the vandas is yellowish (got it from BBS that way) but it has nice thick roots, so I put that towards the center of the tree. I'm happy with these guys so far... Check out the roots in the 2nd picture! Thick and shiny! yipppeee! I know, I know, I have a long way to go - I just get super excited looking at the roots.
