    Default Only in Dallas, Texas

Only in Dallas, Texas could my BLC Williette Wong get two huge burn marks last week on our 104 degree day and then today get about 12 black welts from the a quarter size hail storm! Ugh! Everything's bigger in Texas, but mostly it's severe weather!

Clint, I'm talking dime and quarter size hail that literally stacked on my deck! Most of my plants get some shade from large trees or my deck umbrella, but this little sucker was just in an area that was open to the sky!

Yep. Sounds like typical Texas...It looks a little cloudy today. I hope we get the rain today to keep the heat in check!

I've noticed that high night temps in the summer really cause my unifoliate catts to stall...they hate growing in hot nights. I only have about five plants out this year (Schomburgkia, Brassavola hybrids, two ascocendas).
