Default Bulbo refractilingue spike turns brown feeling sad

Couple of weeks ago or so, I saw my Bulbo refractilingue began to spike. I was so happy and excited that I paid too much attention. I almost water the plant and the rest almost everyday.

Sadly, when I did my round check last satuday morning, the spike has turn brown...obviously it is rotting. all hope is gone, and for some time, I felt like giving up. I was pretty sure I did restrined myself from flooding the whole plant.

I just hope I really learn from mistake this time around.

    Season's Greetings!

I guess, as long as the plant is alive you should be happy. I am sure that you were doing something good for that plant to develop a spike but your excitement got the best of you. Again, charge it to experience.

I recently checked on a bud in sheath only to find two lovely buds brown and rotted (and on my green ching hua!). I know your sadness....but like they say above; be happy the plant is okay. We can always re-bloom them....or there is always the go buy another in bloom plant. lol Hang in there...i've even broke buds off trying to get them to move away from a leaf, etc. It's always maddening...and we've all been there.
