today i bought 3 new young orchids
    b. nodosa
    bc. maikai
    paph. maudiae hybrid

    the nodosa and the bc.
are attached to a hanging wood bark
for the paph media i chose polystyrene in the bottom
and a mix of hydroton, wood bark and coconut fiber and a thin layer
    of sphagnum moss on top

i would like to get some pointers especialy for the nodosa and the bc.

I only have 5-6 (? may be 7 ?) brasavola including nodosa and they are all mounted- several on wooden piece, several on tree fern and only one on coconut husk. They are all happy. I water them almost every morning and they are dry by the evening time. Bc. maikai I just purchased at the show couple of weeks ago and can't give an advise yet. so far mine is doing good- lots of light (even some direct sun in the early morning) and I watered it (I think) 3 times since I have it. I am thinking of mounting it and will do that may be next week.
Tim, please advise about the paph!!!

With the mounted orchids, make sure to keep the humidity up around them.

    Cheers,
