    Hi Byron,

Post up a photo to let us see the orchids foliage color. Also, how close are the lights to the plant? This plant should be grown like an oncidium. Check out the RVO Orchid Care Page on Oncidiums for more information.

    Cheers,
    BD

"Wils" stands for Wilsonara which is a group of intergeneric hybrids in the Oncidium alliance.

Watering twice a week might be a bit much though, depending on your conditions. It shouldn't be staying wet but rather dry out a bit between waterings. Not bone dry, but certainly don't let it stay wet.

Hey Byron and welcome to the forum.

I have this particular orchid, and I grow it on an east facing window in a medium bark chip mix. I think it should be pretty happy with your florescent lights. I water a couple of times a week as it seems to like it a bit more wet than most of my oncidium hybrids. If you're going to fertilize weekly on this one, I would fertilize with something around a 30-10-10 fertilizer at about 1/10 recommended strength.

Also, feel free to check out the American Orchid Society's PDF care sheet HERE.

Welcome, Byron. As far as the orchid, I'd say you're doing just fine. A LOT of beautiful flowers there! Betty :-)
