I love my blue and gold. He is like a child to me. He goes everywhere I do in the truck since he loves to travel - one of his favorite things is when I come into the room and say are you ready "to go"? He goes nuts and dances back and forth and starts talking using all of his words. hahah.. so cute. My bird is young. He was three when I adopted him from a family (husband and wife) that was about to divorce. Now he is 17 and you would think I raised him from the egg. He thinks he owns me! haha...

    Sorry for the hijack, Julie...

    Cheers,
    BD

BD your epic 22 hour haul makes very interesting reading. How did you keep awake? The macaw and the cats, perhaps?

I showed your post to the wife and all she said was ' I am not surprised at anything from an orchid grower.'

I suppose orchids get shipped all the time... so if I pack them well, they should survive the trip better than I will! Humidity in CO duly noted! Humidifiers will be shipped out!

BD - sounds like a brutal trip... you're making mine sound easy... although I am going to be driving five days solo... except for the cat and the rabbit, who are not wild about driving the truck.
