So it stinks huh? I'm not so much into stinkers so I'll just let the plant be for now and I'll pass this one ...

Jojo, yes its a stinker... but you'll only notice it when you put your nose in there. You wouldnt notice anything a few inches away from the flower.

    Thanks Randy.

I saw a plant just like this around two weeks ago from our favorite vendor at the flea market. It didn't have flowers that time but my attention was drawn to it because of its strange pendulant growth and oddly shaped leaves.

At first I thought that it might have been some sort of local Jade Vine variety until upon closer inspection (and from the vendor "friend" hehehe ...) I realized that it was an orchid. Somehow I sensed that it could be a cool growing plant because of all the moss and lichens attached to its roots so I decided to pass on it and I was unsure if it would thrive in my home conditions without extra special care. All throughout the day, it was still in the store and no one bought it and I even saw it again the following week when it was finally bought by a Malaysian friend who is also crazy into species orchids and has a nursery somewhere in a nearby, cool province.

Looks very nice. I have never seen one from the Epicrianthes section that is so yellow before.
