    Smile Growing Oxyglossum-Dendrobiums on epiweb

    This is one of out EpiWeb-IIS system. We grow the species below on it.

    Dendrobium vexillarius var. microblepharon, Dendrobium vexillarius var. alboviride, Dendrobium dekockii, Dendrobium subacaule, Dendrobium brassii, Dendrobium hellwigianum, various clones D. cuthbersonii, Dendrobium theionantum, Dendrobium agathodaemonis

    I copy my answer from a different thread since it's the same...Hope you don't mind

    The tube is made of EpiWeb. That is a Swedish invention, it's a plastic material with the same features as tree fern, it's only so much easier to work with, does not de-compose and holds just enough of water since it does not have any capillary reaction.

    In the bottom of the tube is a water bassinet with a pump, the water is going through a pipe to the top and are connected to a spray bar that distributes the water on top of the system. The water slowly runs down the epiweb thanks to the surface tension.
