Default Can someone help me with this Plant ID?

I purchased this orchid out of bloom and I really don't know what species it is. It looks like catteleya genera from the leaves and stem but it is huge compared to the other catteleyas that I have. It bloomed for me today and it has an incredible fragrance that smells like roses! Can anyone tell me what genera it is? TIA.

It is a Cattley alliance for sure. When I find a plant like this, I usually go to Google and start looking for Cattleya plants for sale - then start comparing pictures. This is a hybrid, not a species. It might take some searching or you might get lucky and find someone on here that is also growing a similar plant. Personally, I would almost bet it had C. intermedia aquinii in it. When you search, add 'splash petal' or 'flare petal' to your search words - so look for something like 'Cattleya splasy petal'. GOOD LUCK !

I am thinking it is a Blc. Waianae Leopard cross.

More similar to C. Penny Kuroda or C. Pink Leopard, but they are all related. It is probably C. guttata in the background that makes it tall.
