Talking New orchids are coming, new orchids are coming!!

I got a great deal from a new seller on ebay. I got 8 orchids for $63 including shipping. Here are the new ones:

Blc George King 'Serendipity' AM/AOS
Lc Blueboy 'Gainesborough' x self
C. Schroederae
Lc Irene Finney
C. Bowringiana
Laelia purpurata 'Werkhauserii'
Rhynchostylis gigantea red
Phal. Ruby Queen 'Carmela' x Carmela's Brite lites 'Chili Pepper'

It's my first phal and my first rhynchostylis so I'm excited to get those. Also, the C. Schroederae is one that has been on my want list for awhile and I got it for $5

The Werkhauserii I've been trying to get for awhile and I always get outbid and it goes way high....over $20 which is too much for a seedling. I got this one for $6

Almost all of them are BS or NBS instead of tiny seedlings which is usually all I can afford.

Now I'm off to inform my husband how much money I saved him

since i was not familiar with most of your list,
i had to do a quick lookup to find photos.
from what i found, i'm very envious.
i love your taste in catts,
they look so frilly and full.
strange, the only one that isn't as full,
is the only one that i have,
the werhkhauserii.
it's a recent acquisition, too,
so i haven't had time to bloom it,
do you happen to know about what size the species is at maturity?
"medium size" is a little vague, when the range is between tea cup and
ten feet.
ok, i hyperbole, but still...
i just don't have enough experience for a basis of comparison.

I'm not totally sure but my guess is around 12-18" in height. That is what I'm expecting. I do have this darn orchid disease though which says I have room for one more always. Seedlings do eventually grow up but that is my husbands problem. When he can't sit at the kitchen table because of my kitchenorchidarium then maybe he will build that greenhouse. lol

They arrived and are even better than expected Here is a picture:

From left to right starting on back row we have
1 - Laelia purpurata 'werkhauserii'
2 - C. schroederae
3 - Lc. Irene Finney
4 - Rhynchostylis gigantea red
5 - C. bowringiana
6 - Phal. Ruby Queen 'Carmela' x Carmela's Brite lites 'Chili Pepper'

Two little ones in front:
white container - Lc. Blueboy 'Gainesborough' x self
black container - Blc. George King 'Serendipity' AM/AOS

They are all healthy and happy. I need to get some more potting medium tomorrow and I'll get them all repotted. I may mount a couple on some driftwood

Wow, Maegg, those look great! And plants always look their worst coming out of a shipping box (wouldn't you?)

I'm always leary of e-bay purchases of live plants, but the leaves look great. I hope the roots are equally awesome!

I repotted everything today and they all had great roots. Very little had to be trimmed. It was such a good deal, I almost feel guilty
